Solvent-based adhesives play a crucial role at various stages of bonding applications. These adhesives are specifically designed for many industries that require excellent bonding capabilities and diverse properties. TYPE 99 is specifically formulated for these applications.

APPLICATION FIELD: TYPE 99 is a premium, versatile adhesive suitable for bonding both porous and non-porous surfaces such as wood, plywood, laminate, veneer, cork, carpet, foam, rubber, leather, fibers, synthetic leather, particle boards, smooth or raw sheets, certain plastics, painted surfaces, PVC flooring, woven carpets, vinyl flooring, vinyl baseboards on walls, industrial generators, jewelry box manufacturing, fabric on wood, exhibition booth installations, roofs and car seats, swivel chairs and sofas, leather belts and bags, etc.

APPLICATION:

  1. The surface to be bonded must be clean, dry, and level before application.
  2. Shake the container well before application.
  3. Apply the adhesive first to the non-porous material, then to the porous surface.
  4. Adhesive applications can be made using a brush, spatula, or pressing equipment.
  5. Allow a minimum drying time of 5 to 10 minutes. Let the solvent evaporate completely.
  6. Align the two surfaces as required and press gradually with a damp cloth. Special care must be taken to avoid trapping air when joining the two substrates.
  7. Apply appropriate pressure in all areas.
  8. Final bonding is achieved within 24 hours, depending on the porosity of the surface.

Precautions:

  1. The TYPE 99 should be well shaken before use.
  2. The container lid must be tightly closed after use and stored away from heat and direct sunlight.
  3. Avoid working near an open flame, as the product is highly flammable.
  4. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
  5. Keep out of reach of children.
  6. Take precautions against electrostatic discharges.
  7. May cause skin and eye irritation, drowsiness, or dizziness.
  8. Wash hands, face, and all exposed skin thoroughly after handling.
  9. Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye/face protection, and an appropriate respirator.
